After breakfast, begin your journey inland toward Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.
En route, stop by the world-famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage,where you’ll see how elephants are cared for and maybe even see them take a bath in the river, which is just amazing! After visiting Pinnawala, continue on to Dambulla, which is home to the spectacular Golden Rock Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which has ancient murals and statues of Buddha.

In the early morning light, climb up the magnificent Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most recognisable monuments. The task is well worth it as the magnificent views from the top are staggering! Afterwards, experience real village living on a village Tour - from a bullock cart ride to a catamaran on a paddy field and enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch prepared by locals.

Today, we will take a step back in time to visit the ancient capital of Polonnaruwa, celebrated for its well-preserved ruins, stone carvings, and royal palaces. In the afternoon, we will transfer to Minneriya National Park or Kaudulla to start a thrilling jeep safari where we will search for wild elephants in their natural habitat.

After breakfast, proceed to the cultural capital of Kandy, which is situated in the central highlands.
Experience the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most holy Buddhist temples in the world.In the evening, you will see a traditional performance of Kandyan cultural dance, with music and costumes that share the local flavour.

Travel through beautiful tea plantations, cool hills, and waterfalls as you drive to Nuwara Eliya, known as Little England for its colonial theme. Visit a tea factory to learn about the craft of tea making and enjoy a cup of fresh Ceylon tea. Afterwards, you can walk around Gregory Lake, see some of the colonial architecture around town or visit some of the colourful flower gardens.

Take one of the world's most breathtaking train rides from Nuwara Eliya to Ella.
Relax and admire the stunning scenery of rolling tea fields, misty mountains, and charming villages.Once you arrive in Ella, unwind in the slow-paced hill town known for its stunning scenery and friendly vibe.

Spend the day exploring Ella’s natural wonders hike to the well-known Nine Arches Bridge, hike to Little Adam's Peak, and visit Ravana Falls to see all of Ella's natural beauty.
To end the day, relax at a local cafe with scenic views of the misty valleys.
This morning you will travel south to Yala National Park, which has the largest population of leopards in Sri Lanka. In the afternoon you will take a thrilling jeep safari in the park where you could see elephants, crocodiles, spotted deer, and many colourful birds.
Leave the wilderness behind and go to the sun-kissed beaches of Weligama located on the south coast.Unwind along the shores, observe the famous stilt fishermen, or try your hand at surfing if you wish to engage in something a little more adventurous.

Take the day to relax and soak up the tropical atmosphere of Weligama. You have the option of visiting Galle Fort, wandering the lovely streets filled with boutique shops and cafes, or simply bask under the sun with a refreshing coconut in hand.

Travel north along the coastal road to Bentota, a well-known resort area with tranquil beaches and river activities. While you are on your way, stop at a sea turtle hatchery in Kosgoda to learn about conservation efforts for these gentle creatures.

Enjoy a full day at leisure , perhaps indulge in a boat safari along the Madu River, try water sports, or simply relax by the beach and soak up the tropical sunshine.
