Your family holiday begins with a warm Sri Lankan smile at the airport. Drive to Negombo, a laid-back seaside town just minutes away. Check in at your hotel and let the kids enjoy their first taste of Sri Lanka — sandy toes, gentle waves, and a tropical sunset by the beach.
Optional: A short boat ride along the Dutch Canal or a stroll through Negombo Fish Market for curious little eyes.

After breakfast, head inland to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a favorite among children! Watch the elephants bathe in the river and feed the little ones — it’s pure joy. Continue your scenic drive to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka surrounded by misty hills.
Check in and relax, or take an evening walk around Kandy Lake.

Start the day at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, where kids can run among towering palms and giant bamboo. Later, enjoy a colorful Kandyan cultural dance show — vibrant costumes and drumming will surely fascinate young minds.
Optional: Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred and serene place to introduce your children to local culture.

Today’s journey winds through lush green hills and waterfalls toward Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England.” Visit a tea plantation to see how your morning cup is made (and maybe sip hot chocolate for the kids!).
Spend the afternoon by Lake Gregory hire a swan boat, enjoy pony rides, or simply picnic in the cool mountain air.

Descend from the hills to the golden southern coast and check in at a beach resort in Bentota. After a few travel days, it’s time to unwind! Let the children play in the sand or splash in the pool while you relax to the rhythm of the ocean.

Enjoy a peaceful Madu River Boat Safari, gliding through mangroves where kids can spot monkeys, birds, and maybe even water monitors! Later, visit a turtle hatchery a heartwarming experience where little ones can learn about sea turtles and conservation.
Return to your resort for a relaxed evening by the sea build sandcastles, chase sunsets, and make the most of your final night in paradise.
